Adimada Aircond recommended that residential air conditioners be serviced and checked every 6 months for residential and every month for commercial air conditioner. The duration varies with different usage pattern and other environmental factors. An air conditioner should be full service chemical cleaning annually to clean the dust from the interior cooling coil and the blower unit to ensure smooth flow of clean and fresh air.

Never.
An Aircond doesn’t “use up” refrigerant. So you should never need to recharge your air conditioner with more Freon—unless there’s a leak.

Yet, here’s a scenario we hear about way too often:

  1. AC isn’t blowing cold air
  2. Some air conditioning tech says you need Freon
  3. You pay to put 30-100 ringgit in your system (this is called “charging” your AC unit)
  4. AC works for a year
  5. Next year, repeat steps 1-4

If this has happened to you, call a new AC company! You are either being scammed or the tech is incompetent (or both). Neglecting to fix the refrigerant leak is like knowing there’s a nail in your tire but just filling up the tire with more air instead of taking the nail out and fixing the hole. We can help.

The most important part of air conditioning maintenance aspect is maintaining unrestricted air flows. Dust, dirt, and debris are an air conditioning system’s worst enemies. Whether it’s an indoor or outdoor unit, you must keep all filters clean and coils free of restrictions.

We recommend that your air conditioning system be checked and serviced twice a year. Also we recommend that you clean your filter regularly, depending on the type of filter you have. This alone can eliminate many of the most common problems that need fixing and can significantly reduce the likelihood of a serious breakdown.

A normal air conditioner will have water condensate in the indoorcooling coil and discharge through a drain pipe. The Air Conditioner will start water leaking when the drainage piping is clogged / choked. Full Service chemical cleaning certainly
can solve the problem. When is your aircond last service? More than a year? Let Adimada Aircond help you.Call us now at 03-7832 6597

Regular filter cleaning helps your air conditioning system operate at peak levels and improves indoor air quality. It is important to clean filters regularly to ensure proper air flow and to keep your home free from dust, allergens and germs. Depending on the type of filter you have, you may require weekly or monthly filter cleaning. Your Adimada Aircond service & repair will recommend the ideal filters cleaning schedules for your unit(s).

Full Service chemical cleaning is a very thorough way of cleaning the air conditioner. When an air conditioner is badly clogged/ choked and a general service can’t improve the condition, a full service is necessary. In a full service, the air conditioner is dismantle part by part and chemically wash.

Having said that, increase in temperature does not reduce the comfort level. At Malaysia thus setting the temperature to 24c saves on electricity bill and provides good comfort.Using ceiling fans along with air conditioners can additionally help in increasing the thermostat temperature.

Non-Inverter Aircond
Conventional air conditioners are non-inverter types where the compressor run on fixed speed. Meaning it can only control the indoor temperature by either starting or stopping the compressor.Usually we set tempereture at 24c

Inverter Aircond
Inverter technology allows air conditioners to be more powerful whilst being more energy efficient at the same time. An inverter air conditioner unit has a variable speed compressor motor that adjusts the refrigerant flow inside the unit to control its cooling and heating capacity as required. It uses a variable-frequency censor to control the speed of the motor which in fact regulates the refrigerant flow inside the unit to provide just the right amount of cooling as needed. This eliminates the frequent start-stop cycles thereby increasing energy efficiency of the unit on a long run.

Bigger isn’t always better; its performance and efficiency that count. Before purchasing a replacement system you should always make sure your system is sized properly to match your needs and budget. Your Adimada Aircond will thoroughly assess your home and comfort requirements to determine the proper size and make the appropriate recommendation.

A few quick tips:

  • Clean and replace your filters frequently.
  • Your system will heat and cool more evenly when the blower is in the “on” position. The blower provides constant air movement throughout the home, and allows for better filtration.
  • Install shades, drapes, shutters, or screens on windows that are exposed to extreme sunlight to keep room temperatures at moderate levels.

You may have tried to cover up indoor odors by spraying air fresheners or lighting candles. Unfortunately, these tactics only mask the odors, they don’t get rid of them. These remedies may in fact negatively affect indoor air quality from chemicals that cause allergic reactions or eye irritation for homeowners.

Bacteria, dust mites, animal dander, cat saliva and mold may also be roots of your home’s odor problem.

Sometimes poor ventilation contributes to unpleasant odors. Moisture condensation on walls windows and stagnate air are signs of poor ventilation. A qualified Adimada Aircond Service Experts technician can inspect your home comfort system to determine if this is an issue that should be addressed. The technician can also inform you how to solve the ventilation system’s ability to correctly circulate and ventilate indoor air.

Definitely not. In most cases the units are between 5 and 8 years old and may now be obsolete. The filters will be worn and/or dirty and parts will be difficult (ie expensive) to find. For total peace of mind, it is much better to buy new air conditioners and take advantage of manufacturers’ warranties of up to 5 years.

Locate the serial number on the outer surface of the equipment for a manufacture date. If the equipment is less than five years old it may have a warranty, but also may not based on the model. Warranty terms and conditions change by manufacturer and the installing company.Adimada Aircond Service & Repair can verify the warranty status of your air conditioning cooling system via Get Warranty form.
